Accessibility Statement
Property Accessibility
Joshua Grindle Inn is a registered historic property that was built in 1879. We have strived to maintain its historic appearance both inside and out. Because of the layout and structure of the Inn, it is not feasible to make it mobility accessible for those requiring wheelchairs, given the exterior and interior stairs and other features of the original architecture. There is no elevator in the house. We suggest that potential guests contact the Inn to discuss any special needs that they have, and whether we can accommodate them. And as a reminder to all, we also do not have other “modern day nuisances” such as televisions, phones, or clock radios. Wireless internet is strong and readily available.
