Yes, all rooms have private bathrooms. Some with shower only, shower\tub combo and three with separate shower and tub.

Do we have water?
A very common question in the summer. The short answer is yes, but our village relies completely on wells for potable water. The winter rain is directly correlated to our summer groundwater supply.

Can I take a bath?
In summer, when water table depths start to drop and stage 4 drought conditions are enacted, we remove the tub stoppers in order to meet our mandatory 40% water reduction targets. I tried leaving the tub stoppers in one year, but we actually went over our baseline water usage. So, we apologize up front for our strict water policy but it’s the only way we can meet our water allotment.

Why are there so many water towers in Mendocino?
Back in the 1850’s, Mendocino was founded as a mill town. Water towers functioned as a way to create water pressure by pumping water to a tank at the top of a tower. Every 28″ of height creates 1 PSI.
